That awesome moment when you rise after every fall!

calvin and hobbesEverybody falls. Life doesn’t assure us success at every step we take forward. There will be failures as well. Some say “failure is the stepping stone to success”, and I totally agree with this part. Granted that human psyche is such that it fears failures and all we do is sulk about what happened, whereas some analyse their fall, understand the reason for the outcome and think of a way to stand up again. This is where the difference lies between those who are satisfied with what they have and those who are not!

One evening I was watching a baseball game and I realized that the hitter gets three chances to get the right shot. It shows us that when a person is given the right amount of opportunity, he will succeed if he has the dedication and will. Now let us transit from the game to our real life. Life is a chest of innumerable opportunities.

Nobody is perfect. Everybody has some flaws which we aren’t proud of for sure. But, there is always a way to overcome the flaw. It only takes a good look to make it happen. Introspection is the key. If you don’t find a way to overcome the flaw, all you have to do is find a way around it. Everybody has a special set of talents, whether regarded as talents or not by the society. These set of skills(talent) will always help you to overcome the hurdles.

Finally, I would like to conclude by quoting one of the famous dialogues from my all-time favorite movie.

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain’t about how hard you hit. It’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward; how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done! Now, if you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hits, and not pointing fingers saying you ain’t where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ain’t you. You’re better than that!
